Myke Ohura – Head Coach / Black Belt Instructor

Myke Ohura is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt known for his high-level competition experience, technical depth, and modern approach to grappling. As Head Coach, Myke leads the overall technical direction of the academy, setting the standard for training, competition preparation, and athlete development.

In addition to his coaching role, Myke is currently an active professional fighter competing for ONE Championship, one of the world’s premier martial arts organizations. His firsthand experience at the highest level of international competition directly informs his coaching, ensuring students are learning techniques and strategies proven under real pressure.

Myke has competed extensively at major international events in both Gi and No-Gi, developing a game built on strong fundamentals, intelligent pressure, and efficient decision-making. His Jiu-Jitsu philosophy emphasizes techniques that translate across rule sets—from sport Jiu-Jitsu to professional MMA.

As an instructor, Myke is highly detail-oriented and performance-focused. His classes emphasize positional control, transitions, timing, and strategy, helping students understand not just how techniques work, but why they are effective.
